In user language: have a work agent pull original text of earlier chats with it. You do not need to tap Remember first, and you do not need to write a daily note.

Who can use it

  • My agents in a workspace: yes. Tell the currently selected assistant.
  • Help agent: does not have this.
  • A colleague’s agent / someone else’s chat: you cannot see them. Only your chats with this assistant.

You must select a workspace, then in Messages select your own agent.

What to tell the assistant

For example:

  • “Look up English words I asked about in conversations from the last three days”
  • “How did I talk about the deadline with you last week”
  • “List the questions I asked in yesterday’s conversation”

The assistant should answer from conversation records. If it only says “not in memory / no daily note”, it used the wrong capability — say it again, or check whether it searched past conversations.

vs memory and memos

| | Past conversations | Memory | Memos | |--|-------------|----------|----------| | How you use it | “Look at what we talked about in the last few days” | “Remember later to always…” | “Save this into memos” | | Saved first? | The chat itself is already there | Need Remember or auto-extract | Need an active save | | Fits | Original text, summarize words you asked | Habits that still apply across conversations | Records to look up by tag |

Full notes: Agent memory, Agent memos.

If you cannot see it

  • Those days you really did not chat with this assistant (a different assistant or workspace is somewhere else).
  • The date range is too narrow: try “the last month”.
  • An imported conversation pack is only searchable under the assistant it was imported to.
