What the interface looks like after you register or sign in

  • Top bar, left: current workspace name (click to switch). In Messages you also see the expand/collapse control for the agent list.
  • Top bar, right: Feature menu (grid icon; Agents, Skills Center, Workspace collaboration, Account), Apps, account (Account), Messages (most used, farthest right).
  • When no workspace is selected: Agents, Skills Center, and Apps are temporarily unavailable. You can still use Messages, Contacts, Workspace collaboration, and Account.

What you see right after registration

  • After you register, you land in Messages and talk with the help agent, so you can learn the product and ask getting-started questions.
  • Usually no workspace is selected yet. To use your own agents and Skills Center, first create or join a workspace in Workspace collaboration.

What a workspace is

  • A workspace is a team space. Chat, attachments, agents, and skills are tied to the workspace you selected, so different teams stay separate.
  • One workspace usually matches one collaboration boundary — a company, school, organization, department, or project group.

Why you often select a workspace first

  • With no workspace selected, Messages defaults to the help agent, which answers platform-wide how-tos. In Contacts you can still add friends and chat with people.
  • To use your own agents, Skills Center, and similar features, select or create a workspace first.
  • Click the current workspace name in the top bar and pick an existing workspace. If the list is empty, create one, or accept an invite / submit a join request in Workspace collaboration.
  • Fastest path: tell the help agent “help me create a workspace”. It asks for a name; if you do not provide one, it uses the default My workspace.
  • To type the name on the page yourself, click: Create a workspace
  • To open the workspace page first, click: Go to Workspace collaboration

Suggested first visit

  1. After register or sign in, look at Messages. With no workspace selected, the default is the help agent. To create a workspace, say “help me create a workspace”. When you ask “how do I open a page” and the answer includes a clickable link, tap it to jump.
  2. To chat with a real colleague or friend, open Contacts in the feature menu (you do not need a workspace first; you can add friends).
  3. Tell the help agent “help me create a workspace”, or go to Workspace collaboration to create or select the target workspace.
  4. Return to Messages, select the agent on the left, and send the first message (the system creates the conversation automatically).
  5. For shared team notes, dedicated metrics, or memory across conversations, see Product features overview.
